Do it and do not even think twice about it. The Shields trigger is worth the trade off. Other than the XDs that I currently carry, the Shield has the best trigger not only of small carry guns, but just about every gun short of a tuned 1911!Quote:

Both of the ones I carried while on R&R. Each have less than 100 rounds through them. I think I will be selling the XDm to a buddy that's deployed with me and I'm gonna buy a Sig Sauer Scorpion Desert Tan 4" 1911. My Kimber is just too nice to be carrying it every where. Plus, I like single stack pistols as they are easier to conceal OWB.

I usually carry either a Springfield 1911 or a S&W 629. I sometimes also carry a Ruger LC9 if circumstances require it. Generally, I prefer bigger bullets, but I have a fairly respectable range of sizes/calibers for whatever situation may arise.

Before I got my new Versacarry holster I carried a Keltec 9 MM. It was smaller and easier to conceal. Now I can carry the larger gun with ease. You can find them at Versacarry :: The Original ZeroBulk Holster.

Just bought a glock 26 haven't shot it yet but it will take place of my 23 which is also my night stand gun with TFO sights and glock light attached with the glock22 mag(15+1) with the sleeve to make it look good

I carry an S&W .40. Looks similar to a Glock, but not as good or pricey. I was looking for a .45 and had heart set on a Kinber, but found out they are banned in MA.
