Would the P245 not be that gun??? Laid alongside my P220, my P245 is the same gun but with a shorter barrel and grip!!!Originally Posted by jwhite75
I have never even heard of the P220 Carry. If there is such a thing I would love to see that gun. I have always loved the SIG's.

Sig P239 or S&W 642 in a Galco Belly Band. Looking at a CZ75 P01.
Nice place you folks got here. I've been carrying my new XD-45acp 4" for the last few weeks and loving every minute of it.
Prior to that I had an XD-40 4" for about 3 years.
Hey! Welcome, zzzarkt! How'd ya pronounce that? Glad ya found CC. Pop on over to "Intros" and tell us about your XD-40.
"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
I have two Kimbers I alternate carrying:
CDP II (5") 45ACP
Pro-Carry II (4.25")
The Pro-Carry II will be my alpha choice...it's getting hot here in Arizona, and the modest difference on size goes a long way in concealability.
20th Century weapon of choice was a Ruger Blackhawk/Blackhawk Bisley .45 Colt, either 4" or 6" bbl

It is what the p245 should have been. Short barrel pretty much same grip. Listed measurements on sigarms web page are the same as p229. It comes in a lot of configurations look at their site it really looks awesome.
During hunting trips I carry a 4" S&W 686 and I have been known to go to town with it also. 6 rounds of personal protection grade 357 ammo properly placed should end any dog fight encountered. Remember the key to survival is to know your threat, operate at that level, and never let your guard down.
Serious business I carry a S&W1911, 230gr., Remington Golden Saber.
The SW 1911 is now home defense as of 4/29/06 a SW 1911PD Gunsite Edition has found a new home on my hip.

glock 19 or 23 because they work when you need them to
Glock 23 and a 38 as Glocks work everytime .
I think that you meant to say Glocks work most of the time. Trust me, Glocks aren't exempt from Murphy's laws.
I have a G21 and I have had a couple of jams. Nothing major but it hasn't gone bang 100% of the time that I have pulled the trigger. Just 99.9 %.
Thankfully those were just on the target range and not real life.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
