I was at church today and ask one of the men about his .45. He said it was his choice to carry because he did not want to just make the bad guy mad with anything smaller. I said I liked the size of my Kel Tec .380, and as I did the near by policeman said he carried one daily on and off duty. I was impressed with my choice. (He loaded every other round with a round nose, then a hyra shock every other round.) I know many that carry the little guy.

    Carry Guns

S&W all stainless Compact Model 4516-2 in .45 ACP with 3.75 inch barrel. Usually carry in Kramer IWB # 3 holster shown. Also use a Gould & Goddrich Open Top.
Alternately, I carry a lighter weight S&W aluminum frame Compact Model 457 in .45 ACP with 3.75 inch barrel. For that one I usually use a Milt Sparks IWB Summer Special 2. Also use a Milt Sparks 55BN Open Top.
Row of leather at the bottom fits both guns, Roma Medium Concelment Pouch, FIST # 12 Basic, DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard, and, a Strong Model H331 for Deep Concealment (The Strong, no longer available, is similiar to a Pager Pal).

It varies what will be carried.

    Springfield XD45 Service
    Springfield Ultra Compact .45 hi-cap
I use High Noon Split Decision holsters for these

    S & W 642
    Browning BDA .380
I use the Bianchi Professional 100 with these

When these won't work, I have a Beretta 950BS .25 in the pocket.

Currently, the S&W M940 (9mm J frame). It was my Department's backup gun, back in the day.

I carry it in a pocket holster from Pocket Concealment Systems, Inc

I'm considering going to an auto, but am trying to make the best choice.

Depending on the weather or situation,I'm Glock-capable.Cooler weather or with a safari vest,I carry all in a Jack-ass rig.To the theater or social events I carry a G27 or S&W 442 in ankle rig.Summer time it's iwb or owb (Don Hume or Galco)with camp shirt or vest over the top.Seems to work for me.My choices are G27,32,36,37.Don't leave home without one.

Talking Wow, is this a longthread...

These days, either a Liebenberg built 5906, or tuned Hi Power or K frame .357 will keep me comfortable. Each is reliable, accurate, and proven.

New to the forum, I carry a Glock 27. I just got my CPL in Michigan. I will also carry without one in the chamber. I like the trimmed uncle mike's IWB holster. It nearly disappears on my waist. Hope I never have to draw it.

BTW I recently purchased a Columbia "Titanium" vest that is very light and excellent for that extra concealment value. Lots of pockets, looks nice, and a place for the cell. Got it at Gander Mtn.
