    First post...

....guess this is a good place to begin...

For daily concealed carry for the last 26 years it has been a 1952 vintage Colt Commander in .38 Super. It is rare that another gun is being carried. When a second or backup gun is warranted it is another Commander in .38 Super...keeps things simple. And if two are warranted then a third, this time "hideout gun", would be a KelTec .32 and maybe a .22 Magnum High Standard Derringer that rode as the Third Stringer when I was in uniform.

When boating, fishing or other water sports then the gun of choice is usually a stainless S&W M60 3" .357 Magnum with adjustable sights. If hiking or woods wondering it will usually be a 4" S&W .41 Magnum..Mountain Gun or M357 Aitlite.

..but the '52 Super is the Go To 99% of the time gun....

    This is my first post

Fall, winter, and spring I carry either a Glock 23 with an aftermarket .357 SIG barrel or a Stainless 3" Para Carry LDA .45ACP. I carry these in the summer also unless I am in shorts and a t-shirt and then I carry a 2G Kel-Tec P3AT. I carry this when I couldn't carry anything else but the .380 caliber is definitely NOT my first choice.

The Glock and Para are carried in a Don Hume JIT slide holster with a cover garment. The Kel Tec in a IWB or a pocket holster.

All 3 have had over 300 rounds of my carry ammo put through them and are 100% reliable

Kimber Custom Eclipse II Full Size

I just got a GLOCK 19 yesterday and love it. 1911s sure have a cool factor you can beat, but man I really like this GLOCK! I need some advise on which Kydex holsters are best. I like IWB for my Kimber but the GLOCK might be too chunky. Thanks

Kimber Pro CDP when cool weather arrives and often my Sig 229 (not simutaneously). Kahr P40 in summer months and occasionally when running for milk, will take my SW 442.

    RE: What do you carry?

Kel-Tec P-3AT. Hope to save up enough to buy a Glock 26 for when I want/need more firepower and am willing/able to carry a heavier weapon.

2", 3" or 4" .357. The length depends on my destination and clothes.

Well I don't carry yet. I'm working on my ccw and own a G20C.
