Hello Folks: I'm brand-new here, so if I commit a faux-pas in posting, bear with me, I can learn fairly quickly. This may have been covered in the past, but, being new, and with so many postings to read, I'll ask: Is a Sig P232 with Cor-Bons too light a weapon to rely upon if things require use? I have a Sig P239 (with .40 and .357 barrels), but favor the P232 because of weight/size/concealability. I do have a valid Concealed Carry Permit. Thanks in advance.

Hi Tubby, I have an older P230 and it is a good backup and I carry it on Sunday but it is not commonly used as a primary weapon. I carry a HK P2000 SK 40 and am quite happy with it as an off duty (make that retirement) piece.

I have been wearing a PPK .380 but I recently aquired a S&W M&P40c and it will take over as my main carry as soon as I get a little more range time in on it. My backup is the Kel-tec P32.

I carry a Glock 19 in either my Galco paddle holster or Galco Miami Classic 2 shoulder rig.

Also carry a lightweight, 5-inch LED flashlight with tailcap on/off switch as well as a CRKT M16-10K knife. The flashlight puts out a surprising amount of light for a penlight and can easily be used in a Harries technique.

Well I temporarily benched my Warthog for some refinishing. Got this to "pinch hit" if needed.

There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11? (Yuri Orlov [Nicolas Cage] Lord of War)

    Depends on where I'm headed...

I usually carry a G27 IWB and spare mag when conceaibility is a priority. If not, a G30 IWB and spare mag or Taurus PT145 OWB.

Another newbie here. I have to wait another month for my ccw, but have two in waiting. Springer SS Mil-Spec 1911 for winter, and FEG PA63 9mm Makarov for warmer weather. Thinking of adding a XD in .40 before then, for variety.

    Primary Carry gun

I carry a Kimber Ultra carry II, equiped with crimson trace sight. small, light and compact, it will print with an owb holster and a t-shirt, but in the summer it goes IWB and no print.
