Ruger P345 w/4 mags.
This is a discussion on What do you carry? within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; Ruger P345 w/4 mags....
Walther PPK/S as an edc or Ruger SP101 .357 and the PPK/S as a bug. I am going to add a Sig P245 or a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 to my collection soon for carry in the winter.
I am a new cwp holder and carry a Glock 27 and extra mag using the smart carry holster. I can wear shorts and a tee shirt tucked or untucked no problem. I also have a Beretta .32 stainless Tomcat that is good for pocket carry.

I carry different guns for different situations, so the short answer is "nothing compact". I like full sized pieces, and you can conceal them without any trouble if you think about how you dress.
I like my 9mm SR-9 because of its firepower (17+1) and with two spare clips, you're carrying a box of ammo. I'm also apt to show up with my Smith .40cal 4006, which is 11+1.
I have some "small guns" that I keep around for pocket carry (.380 , 38 and .22LR) if I'm just going out for a short trip, or if my "main gun" is in the car.
My favorite gun is a model 39 S&W 9mm, but it's only 8+1... but dead-on accurate and "dressy". It really doesn't matter what you carry as long as you can hit whatever's downrange...
I carry a Springer EMP, loaded with HST 147.
Depending on the moment but either a BHP in 40 or 9, or a Walther P99 .40. Anyone I would go to war with if need be... errrrrr along with my M4.

SIG P229 DAK SAS 90% of the time, in 40 S&W. When I want a change I will sometimes switchover to .357 SIG provided I have enough time to go out and shoot a couple of boxes worth of practice ammo before I do.
In the summer, when I am in shorts and a t-shirt and flip-flops, I'll sometimes pack a SIG P230 Stainless ... or P232 depending upon what the wife is carrying.
Used to carry loaded, nothing but Fed HydraShoks, but have recently switched over to HSTs.

I carry a Glock 36 filled with Cor-Bon Pow'rBalls in a Galco IWB, and a NAA mini-revolver in .22LR in my pocket. The lil' wheeler is soon to be replaced in pocket by a Kahr PM9 (possibly in a DeSantis) soon as the taxman gives me back my damn money.
A Surefire 6P always comes around for the ride, day and night.
FNP 45, Glock 36, Ruger GP-100, Ruger Service-Six (.357), Ruger SR9, Walther PPS (9mm),S&W 642, Ruger LCP, Olympic Arms AR15,H&K 12gauge and a big-ass wrench.

I might be carrying anXD45 service or a cz75 9mm. Or it might be a pair of Taurus Millennium Pros "(PT140 and a PT111). All are awesome gunfight pistols I bet my life on. Oh yeah, I am rally coming ot love the Tauruses as tough, accurate and dependable and easy to carry IWB with carry clips.
H&K USP compact 9mm in a Crossbreed IWB, for a little over a year now.
