    New addition

Well I finally got to buy my first pistol (:::checks to make sure wife isn't looking over shoulder::: )

It's a Ruger SR9, all the reviews I've read seem very positive, I can't wait to get to the range (probably Monday). anyway here is a teaser pick and hopefully a range report to follow.

Let me know how it shoots. I have a feeling there's going to be an SR9C in my home soon.

Very nice!!! You've made an excellent choice. Very good pistol from a manufacturer that has great CS if you should ever need it (which is highly unlikely). I've got 3 rugers (one for 15 years) and I've never had any issues with any of them. Can't wait to read your range report.

Conrgats! I prefer the SR9c but your SR9 should give you great service.

    Thumbs up

well I just got back from the range a little while ago. I'll admit I don't have much basis for comparison for shooting handguns, but man what a fun little gun to shoot. I went through 150 rounds (100 Winchester white box, and 50 federal) before I even knew it. not so much as one hiccup the whole time, so far I highly recommend this SR9

It's better to have it when you need it then need it and dont have it.

I knew you would like it. My EDC is an SR9c and at the range the wife shucks as much brass out of it as I do. Fun FUN FUN.

Congratulations on your new pistol! I have always been a Ruger guy... probably always will be. Great guns, great warranty (even better since it is seldom needed). Enjoy it!
