I went with the LCR in .357. Recoil is manageable with my reloads and I can go through 100 rounds just fine once I got my grip down. I personally didn't get a sp101 because I already have a security six 4" so to me that takes the place of the sp101 plus it's 1 more round. LCR fits in my pocket and I just got a mr softy for appendix carry when I don't feel like putting in my pocket but don't feel like carrying one of my mid/full size guns. If you never plan on carrying in your pocket then I guess I'd go for the sp101 if you don't already have something that is close to it, otherwise the LCR .357 even if you never plan on using .357 the extra weight is nice and there is zero difference in size.

I carry the SP101 IWB and the LCR 357 in my off hand pocket. I like both guns and carrying Ten rounds of 357 be for a reload. Both guns are comfortable to shoot 357 and follow up shots are no problem. I carry speed loaders and or speed strips for extra ammo.

In my book, the SP101 (3") stands alone...
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.

What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I have both. My vote is for the LCR. The 101 is only comfortable to me in a belted holster. The LCR and a nemesis pocket holster is a match made in heaven.
Confidence is the feeling you have before you realize the full measure of the situation.
