    Ordered a new LC9

Ok so I took the plunge, ok it's for the wife's carry but I ordered it today. Finally found a dealer that had one she could hold (even though the new owner hadn't picked it up yet) and she loved it, so I ordered it for her, I think she'll like it but either way I've been looking for a BUG so if she ends up not liking it. There is an empty spot in my boot...

Does anyone here have one yet?

    Opinions?.. Comments..

I have one and it basically is all I want to carry now. I have several hundred rounds through it, and it has been flawless. Your wife may have a little trouble shooting it well though, depending on the amount of experience she has. The trigger is long double action, and recoil is a little more than she might be used to experiencing with a Glock or XD, but, it is certainly manageable.

I love mine, but you need to shoot it a bit to become proficient.

I wrote a range report in this forum here:

I held one just yesterday, it felt great. I got home and started looking at some videos and such and found some issues involving the mag release for lefty shooters. I guess the recoil causes the hand to push the mag release and the mag can either fall out or jam up. I have to go back and take a better look at it and maybe shoot it. But I have the Kimber solo carry in mind as well.

Congrats. You might get it for that boot-hopefully she will adopt it.
Fast is good but accurate is better.
