Congrats. It's a wonderful shooter and easy to live with. Mine ends up on me more than any other....and also at the range more often. It is not too expensive to shoot and plenty fun. Accurate. Holds a bunch of bullets. Lots of options to do mods if you like, so many holsters to accomodate many wardrobe choices.
What else could a girl want?
As stated, this is not my first G19, but it will be my first time using one as a CCW weapon. I cant wait to get it home and to the range. Will seem odd having more than 7 shots per magazine (as my Kimber had).

Good choice it a great gun. If only having one the Glock 19 would be my choice. I think it is one of the most versatile pistols on the market, shoot it in good health.

They're not pretty, they're not nostalgic, they're not much in the way of customizing, they're not bought for braggin' rights; but dang, it--Glocks just plain work.

You need a GLOCK 19! It's the best of the best of the best of the best.
OP-congrats on going back to GLOCK. I'm kinda like you on the 1911's. Great looking pistol, a proven pistol, definately one that everyone should have but they can be a pain to dissassemble and sometimes take work to make reliable.
Enjoy your GLOCK 19.
