One Last Glock....Honest
Well it's time for me to retire and end my law-enforcement career. My last day will be May 31 and at 65 it is time. :danceban: My wife already has the Honey Dew list starting with painting the house inside and out. This is suppose to be retirement not forced labor. I will try and fit that in between shooting, golf, fishing and the vegetable garden ( yeah I have been prepairing for this for a little while now). One of the perks of retiring aside from the "Retirement Badge" is the fact that I get to keep my Glock-21 duty weapon. For the past four years I have been the only one to carry and shoot her so I am getting a Glock I know the entire history of. This is my last Glock.....Honest. :image035:
Since she will be a real member of the Glock side of our family I have taken a family photo with her cousins the G-36, G-19 and G-23. I know if you have seen one Glock you have seen them all but they have a special place in my heart. Since 1994 a Glock has been my constant companion on and off duty ( ok the Hi-Power and the SP-101 ride along sometimes).
If you have "special" family members please post their photos. :yup:

Ok, I believe you. But... now your gonna want a G30, I'm just sayin' :hand5:
I never really felt comfortable with the G-30 grip. That's why I got the G-36. In cooler weather I have carried the G-21 in a High Noon Mr. Softy and though it is a tad heavy I like the idea of 14 rounds of 230 gr. Golden Saber.:yup:
Wow, you're 65? In the pictures you've posted I would have thought you were closer to 50. Thank you for your many years of service BTW!
I've only been shooting for about 2 years but I've really grown to love my Glocks. I currently have a Gen 3 19(my favorite) a Gen 4 26 and a Gen 4 23.
Congrats on your retirement! Enjoy!
One last Glock...:rofl::lolp: You're a funny guy.:yup:
I said the same thing four Glocks ago.
Congrats on the retirement!:hand10:

Thank you for your kind words Go Big Orange.......
Congrats on a Long and Safe Career. :hand10: Retirement is really nice, enjoy it, you deserve it... If you ever need a fishin' buddy, give me a holler... :sport66:
Had a gunsmith in Sugarland named Teddy Jacobson do a action job on a S&W 638 a few years back. Did a real nice job.

Enjoy the retirement and thanks for your years of service! Bunker
Congrats on your retirement thats coming and upholding the law.
Thats cool that you get to keep your service pistol. Having a gun on your hip like that for 4 years would certainly get you attatched to it. My next handgun purchase will probably be another Glock. As my G23 need a big brother.:yup:
Congratulations on yout well-deserved retirement. 30 more years and I will be ready to go as well. I wish you all the joy in the world, I know you have earned it.
Congrats on retirement and thanks for the service.
Here's my Glock family...19RTF2, 22RTF2, 23RTF2 & 27.
Hey Old school, congrads on your upcoming retirement. I still have 5 years before I can go out with a full pension. Thank you for your years of service. I am hoping to get down there sometime soon for some fishing and maybe a little hog hunting.
I have had my G22 for almost 11 years now, and with the budget cuts we are having , I expect to have it when I retire.
