    I would ( and did ) go with the M&P45. I had a PT1911 and although it was very nice to shoot- it had QC issues (safety and mags). I had the reular 21 and it just didn't "fit" my hand-angle and size. I now have a M&P 45FS and really enjoy shooting it-it's the only 45 my "recoil sensitive" wife will shoot.

    True, after an apex DCAEK the M&P trigger is much, much better than a glock. I say this as someone with a few k through a stock M&P, a few k through one with a DCAEK, a few k through stock glocks, and range time with glocks that have a 3.5 lb connector and 3.5 lb connector and NY1 spring.
    I collect ammo, not guns.
