If you're a Glock fan you might like this...(pics included)

Because of some of my postings, esp. about 'supreme' accuracy, you may get the idea I'm not a Glock guy or I don't give the Glock due credit. So I'm posting this to clear the air.

This is my stock G19 at 7 yards, off-hand, 'I' stance. Well, it's not completely stock, I do have a Ghost Rocket connector in it - hmmm, after looking at it, in the gun, it may be a Ghost Tactical. I'll probably break the gun down and check it tomorrow - anyway it's a Ghost something.

I somehow got to the range without my normal ammo so I had to buy some. All they had was S&B 115 gn. It shot high in my G19 and you can see as I go from target 1 to 5, I am adjusting my aim.

Notice target number 4, there are five shots in that target. BTW, the hit right at the very bottom of the pic was with a group out of the pic.

Then today I made sure I had my regular ammo and it hit at the POA and I got this:

Actually, I shot a couple of the these today quite a bit faster than I have before - with any gun, and while I can't contribute all the improvement to the Glock, it was certainly 'speakin' well for itself.

But to put things into perspective, Bruce Gray and one of his friends can shoot tighter groups at 13 yards than I shot in the pics at 7 yards. Well except maybe, MAYBE, target number 4.

Nice groups! Glocks will do their part if the shooter can do their part and these pics are proof.

Great head shots. You're crashing right through that nasal bone and the volmer bone - direct route into the ol' brain case.

I was at the range this morning with my G19 shooting at 7, 10, 15 and 25 yards (97 of 100 rounds on paper). In my opinion based on all of the handguns I've owned (out of the box stock firearms) it is the best combination of size, weight, sight radius, recoil, trigger, accuracy, reliability and stopping power. I don't think I will ever be able to shoot it to it's full capability.

    Nice shooting Tangle

I had a ghost rocket put on my G23 and now shoot it much better.

Hopefully I'll do as well as you did there, with some more practice.

    Nice shooting!

If I wanted a precision target shooter, I certainly wouldn't buy a Glock. Then again, I wauldn't be buying any off-the-shelf, standard-production handgun. It'd have to be some special accurized model that is capable of shooting single-hole groups. Then again, I'd have to let someone who could shoot one-hole groups shoot it because these old eyes and shaky hands can't! But my G30 and I group well enough for the intended purpose.

The G19 is more accurate than most give it credit for. With a stock trigger and the CT laser, I can keep all 15 rounds touching at 7 yards with boring regularity. Great gun.
The more good folks carry guns, the fewer shots the crazies can get off.

    Cool

Nice groups, especially shooting a "poly" gun. LOL There is something about a G-19.

I think you need more practice.

I've never had a problem with the accuracy of my glocks. The shooter on the other hand....

10 rds at 5yds, empty 9mm case for reference (shot with g17):

Todd Green of pistol-training.com is at the beginning of an gen4 g17 endurance test, here's a 25 yd off hand group. Keep in mind this is with sights that have a .140" front post with .180" rear notch:

I don't think I'm going to lose any sleep over the accuracy of my polymer pistols anytime soon. I'm the weak link in the equation.
    I collect ammo, not guns.
