Nice, but I prefer the PM9.

    - I wonder how much it's going to eat into the PM9 market share.

I don't think it is going to matter. Kahr has to compete with ruger and all the other small/lower priced 9mms.

Over all, when you take the combined sales/income/profit of the CM9 and PM9, it will be more than just the PM9 alone, net gain.

Kahr did the same thing with the CW9 so they have some data and I am sure they wouldn't do it if they didn't get a net gain.

This pistol is going to be a huge success.

    - I hope you're right. I think a C380 would do equally well, if not better.

No doubt it's gonna sell like hotcakes for a while. CCW permits are on the rise. More and more folks are carrying guns and the demand for small (size) and potent (caliber) has pushed the manufacturers in producing these small powerhouses.

None of these manufacturers would have even hit the design tables let alone tooled up to produce them if the demand wasn't there in the first place. Kahr, Ruger, Sig... the brand doesn't matter. If they go bang and are reasonably reliable, all the brands are going to sell well for the foreseeable future. In all price classes, low end to high end, I don't think it'll matter all that much.

Love my PM9 and could definitely understand how people who can't fork over that amount for a gun would want one. Hope the trigger is as good as the PM.

the CM9 will be a hot seller for Kahr,i may have chosen the CM9 over the CW9 if it had been out at the time..

    Carry a CM9

A good shooter. Installed a clip-draw and it's easy to carry. Break in for 200 rounds and it will smooth out.

Got mine today went right into the range didn't even take down to clean first. Bought two extra 7 round clips fired away 200 rounds without a glitch. Shoots real well reall easy to keep on target with hardly any recoil. Sure ejects the rounds though and I just used range ammo. Now to clean and lube!!

    Good to hear!

I just bought the PM9 last weekend simply because I didn't want to wait and quite honestly, didn't want to be a guinea pig :)
