Getting Anxious: Only TWO MORE WEEKS to wait for the arrival of my TOYS!

Including my incredibly awesome $1,800 custom 1911, and also my amazing highly customized S&W M&P Death Ray Gun. I've honestly never seen a M&P configured like this gun before. I am trying to imagine how it is going to look after all of this work being done to it.

I hoping that the 1911 will be equally fantastic in appearance, if not in destructive power.

I'm getting nervous waiting to see if these two projects will be a success, or a flop. Should be interesting to see the reactions here, when I post their pics.

I have a feeling that the 1911 will be well received, as I'm hoping that it will be a very classy looking gun that will appeal to 1911 purists. But the M&P is going to be so unorthodox, that I'm confident some will not approve of it.

This M&P is going to be my personal tribute to Ed Sanow.

    Ed Sanow?
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Now I'm all anxious for the pics to post...

2011 is the year that I promised myself that I'd refrain from buying any guns (just to see if I could do it). I'm living vicariously through other's purchases.

You never heard of Ed Sanow and Evan Marshall?? Perhaps I am dating myself.

This will be a gun that Ed Sanow would approve of. Muzzle Velocity in excess of 1,600 fps!

Nice aggressive hollowpoint. Non-bonded bullet, though, that is not really designed for this velocity. So I'm thinking that it is going to fragment nicely.

Well, I'm told that the guns will be finished and in my hands by the week after next.

I've been waiting months, so I'm easily the person here that is the most anxious to see them.
