I still feel that the best was the Dan Wesson .357 magnum Revolver. You could buy one gun and extra barrels and change it from a 2.5", to a 4", to a 6", or 8" or 10" in a matter of seconds. From a 2.5 carry today, to a 4" or 6" in the woods, to a 8" or 10" to hunt with or long range target shooting. I know of no other pistol or revolver that you could use like that, yes it is a large revolver, but built like a tank and a very straight shooter. I have had mine for over 30 years and it still can drive tacks.
Combat: Glock 20 or 21 Just wish my hands could comfortably grip one.

Glock 27, moderate conceal, kahr pm9, deep conceal... if size and concealability are not an issue, I personally go to the 12 gauge

For me Carry and Pocket Carry shouldn't be combined
