    First Day With S&W, M&P, 9mm Compact

Picked up my M&P and headed straight for the range. Put almost 50 rds. through it and had one FTE, but took care of that and had no more problems. Felt great in my hand, recoil was no problem and the accuracy at 7 yds. and 15 yds. was, to my estimation, very good. Now if I can just get the hang of the take down I'll be very happy. Look forward to a long term relationship with this Smith!

Enjoy the new M&P. I have the Pro 9mm and the 45 M&P. They are great guns. I'm guessing 50 rounds at Target World? Scary place but it is indoors and today you needed that to shoot.
It's not a problem til they make it one!

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.

I had one FTE on my S&W SD40 out of the box too. The manual says to clean it before shooting to remove the protective coating. Since I oiled the lube points I have had 0 issues with any bullet you can think of. Congrats, the M&P is a fine weapon!
