Been waiting since late Nov last year.
Magnum Research are finally importing them again.
I am reeeeeallly liking the new Full Size poly .40. Gonna be my new work carry as soon as I can source one. Tired of the rust issues on my all steel (blueing is 25% gone on the frame).

I have never researched or fired any of the baby desert eagle pistols. Whats the main selling point?

Nice to see them back. Magnum Research was bought by Kahr last year.
The one I have is an early 90's steel 9mm. Never had any issues with it, period. It is defiantly a quality CZ clone.

They do have a type of cult following, probably because they have been used in several hundered movies. If anyone is into anime, Spike carries one as his main pistol in the Cowboy Bebop series. (Okay, I just cemented my geek credentials).

For me, reliable, accurate (8" group @ 100m with 180 reloads), durable, not a picky eater, comfortable, did I say reliable?
I figure if it was good enough for the Israeli military and police for 15 odd years, in that crappy environment, it's definitely good enough for me.

I always loved the way those guns looked.

I want to say there was some teething pains with the .45 when they first rolled out, can't remember specifically what it was, and then it seems like it was only one model like the sub compact, or ploy sub compact, which was fixed.Originally Posted by Wyoming09
