Glock 19 mini range report.
As posted about 3 weeks ago I bought a glock 19 for my primary weapon, its my only weapon as of now. Last weekend I took it and had some truglo tfo sights put on it and today I took it to the range for a quick run.
I shot only 65 rounds because I am in a bit of pain from a knee surgery but those 65 rounds reminded me of the love I have for the glock 19 (had one years ago but sold in my divorce). This gun is deadly accurate at self defense range and felt so good to shoot. The gun had zero issues and exceeded my expectations, I figured the new sights would need adjusting but they hit at my point of aim every time.
After leaving the range I went and bought a weapon mounted light for it which will be on it at night when I'm home, the wml also has a laser. As of now I cannot think of anything else I want for this firearm, its combat perfect in my world.
Let me say I have had high point (yes I admit to that), smith and wesson, ruger and kimber, but none felt as good or shot as well for me as the glock 19 . I honestly forgot how great this platform is.

Yes I bought a gen 3. I had the choice and both were same price but I had a gen 3 before and knew what I was getting, I was afraid of the 4 when I read some of the reviews.

No, its my fault. I posted and realized the pic was not uploaded and edited to add the pic.
I held a gen 4 but the 3 feels the most natural to me.

Every time I see one, my mind drifts to "ok, would it be sooo bad if I use the credit card and just get one now?!" LOL
Great pistol. Great choice. Glock on!

As said, I have owned the low end high points and kimber on the high end. The closest thing that compared to the 19 was the m&p I had, but I find the 19 superior to anything iv had. When I bought it I looked at the xd-m and am glad I went with what I knew was tried and true.

First: Congrats on your new 19 !!!!!!
Second: You should have reversed your steps (buy and install the weapon mounted light, then go to the range to test it). Sometimes Glocks just don't like non-Glock mounted lights. That is mostly on the .40s, but is possible on any of them. I would suggest taking the light off until you can test the combination for reliability. It's probably fine with it, but you just never know until you try it.

Never knew that, gives me an excuse to go to the range sooner than later. :-) gotta wait till my knee gets better, knee surgery sucks
