    "old-School" x2: a nice CC pair if you like Low-tech! w/pics

I posted a few pics of my vintage Taurus 65 2.5-inch .357 a while back. It's still looking as good as ever...but I recently added her little sister, a vintage Taurus Model 82 in .38 special with a 3" barrel.

They make a nice pair, especially for concealed carry. I have a holster en route, and will share pics when it arrives.

I have a S&W model 37 2" snubbie, to complete the set, but am lacking the most basic of all revolvers, and arguably the most common and most utilitarian, the 4" .357. I have my eyes on a few S&W K-frame model 13's for that, with the round butt and heavy barrel. I was hoping to come across a 3" Taurus with the same rounded butt as the Model 65, but have not found one yet...they seem to be pretty hard to find, and I don't think they are being made anymore.

At any rate, this pair makes a nice addition to my stable, and I certainly don't feel "under-gunned" when carrying either one of them!

    The M82 .38 3"bbl is on top, the M65 2.5"bbl .357 is below.

    Cool

Old School likes your old school.

Good luck on finding the S&W Model 13.
