Good comments above. Just how does one know which manufacturers offer a "lifetime warranty"?
I have bought serval new and used. Some of the firearms that I want are no longer produced. Try finding a new pre lock S&W. I tend to find that really new firearm owners only buy new because there is a comfort level with it as they are not very knowledgeable in what to look for.
