How Many 1911s Do You Have?

3 - a Colt Commander, a SA Loaded, and a Sig GSR. I love them all.

Only 1 - a Sig 1911 Ultra Compact.

Bought one to see what all the hype was about - a SA Loaded Combat. I really want to like it and it shoots great and has been flawless, but the 1911 grip is not all that comfortable, the reach to the trigger is too short and the reach to the slide release it too long. If I don't pay very close attention, I don't squeeze hard enough to close the grip safety. If I squeeze it hard enough to close the grip safety, my trigger finger wants to rest on the front of the trigger guard, I have to lift it and double it back to get back to the trigger. Love the trigger and accuracy, but it will be my last 1911. G21 fits my hand like a glove.

I have a couple full size 45's, a 10mm, a 38 super, a 9mm and a CCO in 45. My wife has a Gold Cup and an Officers model in 45.

Sadly not a single one at the moment. I traded my Kimber LME II towards and FNP 45 Tactical a while ago. Down the road I would like to get a Sig 1911. My boss bought one and I got to try it at the range. Despite being an Officer's size it shot extremely well. Made me wish I still had a 1911! In the past I've also owned a Colt 1911 in .38 Super.

Only one - but she's a beauty. Les Baer custom Monolith w/ everything and the kitchen sink. Carried daily for 5 years....then I decided it was too heavy and too nice. I just picked it up the other day....now I'm thinking of a holster for it!

None at present but I sure would like to change that. Not sure I can rack the slide however. I know I should not admit that I am a wimp but the truth is the truth. Need to go to the gym more offen I think. Or, start going to the gym. :embarassed:
