I've got a couple of Pre series II Kimbers, a couple of Colts Cmdr & Gov't, a couple of Dan Wesson "BOB-tails", three Sig 1911's, and a S&W Performance Center 945-1 that really isn't a 1911, but it's real close... :)

I was going to boast about my 6, but ol' DBWOODS has 19, so I'll just go get a cup of coffee instead!

Unfortunately they were all in my gun safe which fell out of my plane during transport and in a tragic accident landed on someone's boat filled with all their guns and they were all lost at sea. ;)

    How Many 1911s

    Interesting Question:
As of two months ago I had never shot one. I own 15 + other pistols and revolvers.
In Oct. I rented one at the range......huge mistake.

    I now own 5

    Ruger
    STI Trojan
    Colt Tactical
    Sig
    GSG 1911 22

    Help me I am addicted.

Just two right now, Kimber Ultra Raptor, carried daily. Colt Series 70 Government Model. Began it's life with a terrible electroless nickel finish on it, and MMC Combat sights. It's wearing a Black T finish now, with low profile night sights. Don't carry or shoot it much, but it is a joy. Had a Kimber Stainless II but I gave it to my youngest son to commemorate the birth of his first born.

Happy with what I have right now. If money fell from heaven, I'd probably by two-five more.:)
