I have a killer deal being offered to me on one of these. I have never owned or shot one and was hoping for some feedback on weather it is a good move or not for a pocket truck gun???

Define -Killer Deal- For me, $150.00 would be a killer deal. These ARE good guns however. Normal retail is about $275.00 or less.

I shot it, liked the quality of the LC9 better but the lack of safety garbage on the PF9. If it is 200 or below I would grab it. They have spotty reliability so if you get one that has issues..... you can polish them up and fix the feed issues.
I can snag this one for $125 so I think I will have to go after it.

I would for 125.

The Kel-tec PF-9 was one of my first firearm purchases last July on recommendations from my gun shops as an entry-level carry pistol. I've found it to be a very reliable with only a few FTE issues at the range (in over 1,500 rounds) which I've attributed to limp-wristing it. My only (minor) complaint would be that the trigger is a little snappy, in that it kicks back a little upon reset.
Target shooting finds it to be reasonably easy to control, even during rapid fire. If you have larger hands (like me) I highly recommend the extended magazine plates & a slip-on rubber grip (like the Hogue Handall Jr.) for better control. With 7 + 1 ammunition capability, I'll feel confident carrying this with one or two extra mags.
I purchased a Glock 17 at the same time & I'm very happy with both of these weapons. For the price you should definitely go for it!

Sounds like a good deal in my estimation. By the way, as a born & bred Pennsylvanian myself, where is Vandergrift located in the great Keystone State??![]()

Had one, shoot it a lot, carried it, got rid of it, and don't miss it at all.

My friend has a PF9 and likes it.
I always get concerned about deals that are too good to be true.
