I'm sort of stumped on this one. Sometimes I'm in gun stores and I'll see various guns in pink, purple, red, green, etc.. But when I go to the manufacturer's website, I don't see those available. Are these custom jobs, or are they made that way from the factory?
Personally, I'm usually fine with black or silver. But I'm thinking of buying my wife something neat like that for her birthday or Christmas.

Some manufacturers put it out there as an option that the dealer orders specifically. These days it's mostly pink frames, primarily in the pocket pistols, to appeal to females who want their gun to look pretty.
Some guns come in certain colors such as "dark earth" and "olive drab (OD)" while yet others come in digital camo patterns (I've seen a few BHPs made by Browning with that particular configuration.)
If all else fails you can either Duracoat the entire gun OR you can send it off for water transfer printing (also known as hydrocoating.) Other, more durable, options include Cerakote or other ceramic based finishes.

Here are a few that I know come with various colors.
Ruger LCP rasberry- dark pink
Ruger LCP- olive green
Bersa (not sure which .380 model)- pink
Various Taurus and S&W revolovers with pink or purple grips.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.

Keltec has had several different colors on limited runs for their P3AT, I've seen blue and red slides. I have a green frame(grip) and parkerized slide on my P32.

Taurus has a .380 semi-auto that is PINK.
Crimson trace has a set of J-Frame Hot Pink grips.
Here is the only gun I want in color. I like mine black or stainless as does my wife.
It's not a problem til they make it one!

My drop some hints to the wife, she may not want a pretty color gun. My wife loves her black Mother's Day GLOCK 26.
