Oops. Had overlooked the .44 revolver caliber.

Due to agency policy, I carry my duty SIGARMS P229 in .40 S&W while off-duty....before that, I carried mostly 9mm's in the form of two Kahr's.

I carry a Wilson Combat Professional backed up by a Taurus PT-145 for semi-auto carry.

I carry a Ruger SP-101 3" in .357mag backed up by the same gun in 2" in a pocket holster when revolvers get the nod.

There are times I carry my Kel Tec P-11 in a pocket with no back up when around the house.

I will not carry anything smaller or less powerful!!!

For years I used a 41 mag and 38 spl as my main carry calibers, then added a 10mm and then 45 acp.Since I carry as a CWL and not for work I use a 9mm and recently retired my SW Model 60-7 38spl for a new Model 60-14 357mag. I still use my Mod 57 custom snub when the mood stirkes me.

    I didn't vote because I carry more than on caliber, .357, .38spl, .40, 9mm, or .45acp

My primary is 9mm. But when I need ultra deep concealment its my kel-tec p-32. Yes its a small caliber but it beats no gun at all. Stay safe everybody.

    9mm and .357 Mag for me. I used to carry .45 ACP but I downsized from a G21 to a P-228.

Didn't reralize it was amultiple choice poll.

I voted 9mm because that's what I carry outside the house.

You could put me down for .22 also if you wanted, because around the house I often have a .22 derringer in my pocket with the 9mm just nearby.

Outside the house the .22 is purely a BUG, and rarely carried at that.

    1911 .45 guy. If I carry a bug it's either 9 MM XD or .38 derringer, but I don't always carry a bug

Minimun is .380 but prefer a .45. However, probably carry a 9mm more than any other due to guns size vs. caliber considerations.... biggest caliber in smallest package with the most total shots available.

45acp primary and BUG. I like to keep operating procedure the same.
I used to have a PT111 millenium but kept shortstroking trigger and it was a 9mm so had to carry 2 different kinds of Magazines. My extra Mags for my full size 1911 can be used in my BUG and the trigger stroke is the same. Love that commonality.

Thanks, all, for the great feedback and contributions. Keep it coming! :xlt_yes:

Just saw a Kel-Tec P3AT in person, today. Dang! but those are tiny, concealable and light. P3AT ... S&W 442 ... P3AT ... Hm. Will have to think about it, now. If the reliability question can be answered and the right .380 ACP round found, it might well take over for my go-anywhere unit.
