    M&P45

I really want a 45 and the S&W M&P45 seems to fit the bill for me. I like the way it feels and the price is ok, $609 then a $50 rebate. I have 2 S&W guns and they have proved to be very reliable. Just wondering if anyone has one or any news good or bad about it. Thanks DC.

I carry one everyday. Love it. No issues.

    Can't speak for a .45 but I love my M&P 40 and M&P .40c. No problems!

Yep. Have had one for about 8 months. Great gun. Shoots every time. It currently is at my bedside as backup to my Mossy 500. I put a light on the rail and it has a laser built into the grip. Can't go wrong especially for the price as you stated.
It's not a problem til they make it one!

I own three: a full-size .45, a full-size 9mm, and a compact .40. Not a single problem with any of them after thousands of rounds. The .45 and 9mm have the Apex trigger kit installed to offer a very much improved trigger. The M&P line of pistols are accurate and reliable --- S&W got it right.

You might want to make a phone call...there is a gun store here in Tampa called "Shoot Straight" on hwy 301 they sell M&P .45 for $469.00 NIB I think the rebate would still apply. Might be worth a phone call and you could have it shipped to a local FFL. Just a thought. I don't own a .45 but do have an M&P 9 and love it.
