    Ordered my 1911!

Finally had my gun guy order my Springfield M1911-A1 Loaded! Decided to get it in the Parkerized finish, beautiful gun. Between that and my Grandpa's Official Police he gave me, I might just have to build my AR next!

Only thorn is how long it might take. I spoke with a guy at Davidson's that said Springfield just isn't making enough 1911s at the moment... so hopefully it won't take too long.

Congrats on the new order. We just got a stainless Springfield 1911 A1 loaded. I ordered the GI Plug and Recoil Guide from Ed Brown. Haven't had a chance to take it out and shoot it yet.

    Congrats on the new gun.

Not sure which model number you ordered, but there is a dealer on Guns America that has the PX9109LP for $850+25.00 shipping.

That is the one that I ordered, but I got it for $10 cheaper out the door. :)

I'm starting to get another itch for a 1911. I might be in the market for one in the next few months.

Good choice! I've got one that has been worked over by Springfield - Loaded on the outside, TRP on the inside - great shooter, runs like a top, and it's crazy accurate.

I bought the same one a few months ago. Springfield makes a great gun. You are sure to like it.
