Wink Well, it followed me home yesterday.

Finally got around to getting this High Standard Crusader off layaway yesterday. It seems to be pretty well built, and it's basically the same as a RIA. I haven't got a chance to shoot it yet, but that should change this weekend.

Congrats! I'll be waiting to hear how it performs. I've kinda been wanting to add a 1911 to my "family". Can't afford to spend a ton though...been looking at RIA and Remington. I've owned High Standard .22's in the past, they were good, reliable, weapons.

    Cool

It followed you home and there was no way you could turn it away. I completely understand.

If it shoots as good as it looks it will definately be a keeper.

If you keep having this "problem"--- following you home--- you had better keep one hand in your holster just in case!!

Thanks guys! It feels perfect in my hands, and the trigger is unbelievable! I started on a leather holster for it today, and it's turning out pretty nice. Hopefully I can get some rounds through it this weekend, so I can put it into the rotation.
