I have used gunbroker and did OK but I think gunsamerica is more like a group of pawn shops and don't think I would do business with them.

I have shopped to compare product and pricing on Gunsamerica but I usually bid on Auctionarms or Gunbroker. I have purchased all my handguns from these sites and have gotten some great deals. I find that when going through an FFL they will usually offer the best shipping rates ($12-15). Never had a problem where the item was not as advertised.

    looked only

I am skeptical of buying something at a distance. I prefer to look
and feel what i am buying. If you are sure of what your buying
and have handled and shot the gun, maybe. the delaer i use
here stands behind what he sells no questions.. to me its not worth
    the hastle..

I've purchased from Gunbroker & Guns America, been very satisfied with both. From GA I picked up a West German Sig 225 w/5 mags, double mag pouch and case for about $505.00 after shipping & transfer fees. From GB I picked up a West German Sig 230 for $460.00 after shipping & transfer fees. And both Sig's were lightly used

Guns America once, M1 Carbine purchase from the opposite coast. Beautiful example from a reputable dealer. Some local dealers also advertise there, so I can then go see the item in-person.
Gun broker, just for brass & once a shotgun barrel.

I bought a S&W 66-3 2.5" bbl from GunsAmerica last month and it was exactly what they described: One owner bought and never fired it so it was described as 99.9% new and unfired. It came with a Boyt gun case and 2 pair of grips (Pachmyr & S&W Combat ). I was taken for a loop when I seen exactly what I had purchased FTF. I am satisfied!!!

I've used Gunsamerica a couple of times and never had an issue. I only bought from dealers listed as shop owners I could check out on the Internet first.

I've made at total of (4) purchases through GA over the years, (2) within the past two months. They have always been through dealers, have gone off without a hitch, saved me a bunch of dough even with the shipping/FFL fees thrown in.

While I have visited gunsamerica, gunbroker, and auctionarms to look at things to buy, I usually buy locally. I recently stumbled across a nice site armslist.com which i have used to successfully sell a rifle.

No I have not, tthe prices are good until you add in the shipping and transfer fee. I like to give my LGS business so they stay in business.

Purchesed one fire arm, Did not like the people on the phone. They changed stories depending on who I talked to. I took note while talking to them so this is not from memory.

I asked for the tracking number so I could track it online and get notified on my phone (was being shipped to an FFL). They first man said it was against federal law to provide me with the tracking number. Talked to another gentleman who said we normally don't, it is our policy not to. Then I asked what does normaly mean to you! Either have a policy or don't. He finally gave me the tracking number.

Having only used Gun Broker for the last decade or so.

I used GA for my last gun.

The bidding was a bit strange and you had to submit your offer, then the seller contacted you.

Transaction with Scott's Outdoor Guns was perfect.
