    After the PICS check, and a box of .45LC, plus some targets, it cost me almost $500. It's a discontinued model, and the local shop owner equates the word "discontinued" with "hard to unload", so I got a good deal on it. And yes, a Western rig is in the works. She's gonna be my barbecue/fishing/hiking/riding-my-hog-on-the-weekend carry rig.

    some like the birdshead grips. claim they allow for stouter loads to roll the grip in your hand.

    needs a mate if'n you gonna go Cowboy. SASS is popular in PA, I an my daughter have shot there often over the years. Allentown was my favorite.

    Actually, the more I think about it, with that short barrel you might even want to consider a 10 to 11 o clock cross draw rig. Again still western and tooled.
    Just my $.02 BTW pretty good deal you got there.
