    Ruger KP95PR......Anyone Carry It?

I'm thinking of getting the Ruger KP95PR in 9mm. Has anyone had any issues with this in regards to quality, reliability, functioning, etc....? As for carrying it I am tall and thin and can hide pretty much anything on my person so I'm not really worried about the concealibility factor.

I carry a p-95. It is completely reliable and one of the best shooting pistols I own. I don't see that it is any bulkier than most other full size service 9mm pistols. It's no sub compact but I think the hugeness of ruger pistols is somewhat overblown. The metal framed pistols such as the p-90 and p-94 are heavy but I don't think the p-95 is heavy for its class. If I remember correctly it weighs about 27oz. unloaded. They are good pistols reguardless of price. I paid 325 for mine a couple of years ago. Mine is an older modle without the pr rail. I've thought about trading it for the newer version but for the price I may just buy another one.

I have the version without the rail. It has been a flawless performer.

Welcome to Combat carry! As far as issues with Ruger, reliability and function have not been problems. I have a P95DC that I have carried a few times, and the only reason I haven't in a while has been size.

Theyre a little on the bulky side, but theyre tough as nails and reliable.
If that is what you want, then go for it.

Used to carry my P95DC for many months (you'd never have guessed!) - and it is rugged and reliable - and I'd still carry it if my options were reduced.

Leaving aside aesthetics - cos I find it a chunky fugly piece - it's how well it works that counts. In that department no complaints at all.

    P95 Ruger

I carried and shot IDPA with my P95 DC for several years. The gun is very trustworthy. Shot everything, never failed to shoot and cycle. I tried to conquer the double action single action and never got it right. I started pistol shooting with a Colt .45. I changed to an XD-9 after trying several different striker fired pistols. If you like the Ruger you will not regret buying and using this pistol. By the way Ruger stands by their products like no one else.
