What claude is saying about the mindset part is what you're not getting (and nobody said anything about your right to a firearm, everyone has that right but some are not ready for it yet), and I agree with him. Its not an insult or demeaning, its not that we don't like you, its just something you have expressed here that you need to get right. Instead of planning for the day you are distracted or not thinking right you should be planning now for developing good weapons handling habits, and not put your finger on the trigger until ready to shoot, keep it in a holster that completely covers the trigger guard, etc and the ND won't be an issue while carrying.

i raised my daughter that in a debate with a liberal, you will know you have won when they start saying things like:
