The iPad is losing value every day...the Kahr is at least holding its value, maybe even going up since it is off the grid. Sounds like a good trade to me, and you can ALWAYS buy another iPad if you want it. And even if the trade is just even value, you bless a friend who is going to serve the Lord overseas. Win/win IMO.

yep, great trade. In two to five years the ipad will be obsolete. In 20 years, the firearm will still be in your collection.

Well lets think about this, some guy catches you in a dark alley and wants your Ipad, OH, you dont have it anymore, so you whip out the Kahr.
Seriously which would do you more good in a mugging?

Bought it 2 years ago for $499, adding some accessories, blah blah blah. He said he trade straight across for his Kahr PM9/P9. He has been the only owner

I currently have a Glock 26, so staying with 9mm is a plus. I don't know much about Kahr's, so I put this before you. It was his idea. Is this a fair trade?

Good for you, bad for him. And, I don't think he'll be able to function with an ipad as his sole computer.

I made it a policy a couple decades ago to never trade away a gun for computer equipment. One keeps value, the other doesn't.
