Trade thoughts: My iPad for his Kahr PM9/P9

Ok, a co-worker is moving out of the country to Norway to do a church plant. He was going to sell his Kahr PM9 or P9 (can't remember exactly) before he moves. He brought up the topic of traveling as light as possible and was asking about my iPad (instead of a big laptop/desktop). It's a 16Gig wi-fi only 1st generation iPad. Bought it 2 years ago for $499, adding some accessories, blah blah blah. He said he trade straight across for his Kahr PM9/P9. He has been the only owner

I currently have a Glock 26, so staying with 9mm is a plus. I don't know much about Kahr's, so I put this before you. It was his idea. Is this a fair trade?

Take it. The gun is around $500 or so and the tablet is around $350.

Ask to test the gun first and if she shoots good make the trade. I'm sure he isn't gonna take your iPad without seeing if it works so you should do the same.

Well, he knows my iPad well. He's always taking it and using it. I have a good feeling the gun is good to go, but you're right.

Before too long, the iPad will be obsolete, but the pistol will have quite a bit of value

It is a good trade especially if it is a PM9. Either way I would take it. Then get an Ipad 2 if you are still wanting one and in the end you have 2 wins.
