    New XD45

    Finally picked up my XD45.

Just need to field strip it, clean it and take her out for a spin.
I think I'll do fine with it after a bunch of practice, as it's almost the exact size of my full sized H&K USP.

Enjoy it... Great shooters, from all reports.
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

I hope yours is as good to you as it has been to me. Wonderful firearm. Let us know how you feel about it after you shoot.

Cool, I liked shooting my girlfriends XD40, the 45 looks just as good.

Great choise! I bought a xd45 tactical a couple of months ago. I have put several hundred rounds of Independence, wolf, winchester white box (all 230 grain fmj) and a couple of boxes of 185 gr golden sabres. 0 malfunctions of any kind. All grouped well and shot to point of aim out of the box. The golden sabres shot particularly well.
It's the only striker type pistol I own and I was supprise how much I really like the trigger. These guns just seem to be natural shooters.
    Enjoy!

I posted a Poll/Survey on XD .45 Reliability on another board.

I hope to get enough responses so that people thinking of
buying one (like myself ) have an idea about their quality.
