Ruger GP100 3" Wiley Clapp Talo Edition

Found this on another forum. Thought I would share it here. Supposedly it is going to be a 3" .357 mag with a Novak rear sight, and a tritium night sight in the front.

    thats pretty sweet.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women

Well damn if she don't look purdy.

Just how well does a .357 mag do in a 3" ballistic wise anyway? Only really familiar with 2", 4", 6", 8".

Here is a Stephen Camp article with some chrono results. I just bought a 3" GP100, and needless to say, it is freakin' awesome.

Much more sensible features than the Clapptrap Commander TALO is pushing. I like the GP. Hope WC's name is not on it anywhere, then I might buy one. Naaaah, already have a 3" CS-1 and a couple of Performance Center 3" 681+ guns, so I guess I'll pass...

If the GP100 was a seven shot I would be all over one in a heart beat!

That would certainly make it more appealing to me.

Are you just sharing the picture, or are you buying the gun? The gun is a real tank.

I love tritiums, but I can see that front sight eating a holster up.

    'Awesome gun all the same.

I keep vascillating between the GP100, SP101, and S&W 626. It'll likely be the first good deal that shows up.

What do you guys think about this gun? If you are going to have a short barrel 357 why not have 8 shots?

    Product: Model 327 Night Guard

(Drooling) What's not to like? I suppose some old school types don't like alloy frames. At first I thought it was .327 caliber, but that's just a meat and potatoes .357 crusher.

You could also load it with 38+P and have one hell of a reliable bedstand gun! And it weighs 27 oz. Lots of people are shooting 357s in their LCR with no problem?

Very nice revolver. I like it, but I hate the "READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL" on the barrel

How did I miss that? Why Ruger, why?!

Wasn't there another Talo edition GP100 made, minus that obnoxious warning billboard?
I just can't stand that thing!
