What would you rather buy for a CCW in 9mm, in a single stack configuration... & why?
Just to let you know....I'm leaning towards the LC9.... so any feedback would be great

I really like my LC9. Seems like the best of many worlds.

Love my LC9, especially after removing the mag disconnect.
I really like my Kahr PM9, but I don't think you can go wrong with the LC9 either.
I'm in favor of gun control -- I think every citizen should have control of a gun.

In your configuration, if money were no object, there is the slightly pimped version of the PM9:
Kahr PM9 Black Rose - Style # PM9093CSBR, Kahr Arms Pistols

"Historical examination of the right to bear arms, from English antecedents to the drafting of the Second Amendment, bears proof that the right to bear arms has consistently been, and should still be, construed as an individual right." -- U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings, Re: U.S. vs Emerson (1999)
Browning hi power
It is metal, very accurate, full size and bad ass.
But I'm guessing you aren't talking about carrying a full size gun.... So I guess next would be a commander frame 1911 chambered in 9mm.
There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I think I would like to try a Kimber Stainless Raptor II or the Stainless Gold Match II based on feel and funactionality. Too rich for my blood right now but they sure feels good in my hand.

The PM9 is the best possible answer but I also think the P9 is not that much bigger and such a great feeling gun.
The LC9 is much bigger than the LCP and I dont trust stuff when it just came out.

I would buy a Kahr CM9.

I went with the Kahr PM9, couldn't be happier.
Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
Para Carry 9 or A Sig P225.
"A first rate man with a third rate gun is far better than the other way around". The gun is a tool, you are the craftsman that makes it work. There are those who say "if I had to do it, I could" yet they never go out and train to do it. (WETSU)
No-brainer for me: Springfield Armory EMP (No, I don't own one, but probably will at some point. If it could be converted to 9x23 like both my Ultra Aegis guns have been, I'd likely already own two.)
Just realized, the OP asked why: To begin with, it is 1911-based, so it will either have a nice trigger, or can easily be made to have one. Because it is 1911-based, it will point correctly for me, and most likely, will work every time. If it doesn't, I know how to make it work. It is very small and flat. The controls are in the right places, and are the right size. According to people I know and trust, their EMPs are a joy to shoot, are very controllable, and are quite accurate.
EASY Choice for me EMP!
