    CM9 Break-In

    wow.... hubby and I in celebration of our 19th Anniversay went to the range today - I to break-in my CM9, he to plink with a S&W 59.

    -the CM9: So very accurate!!!!!!! Not one ftf. I bet I shot 250 rounds and my hand was a little sore, really need to purchase a few more magazines; that would be helpful.
    The ammo I used - Shot Blazer 9mm Ruger 115gr FMJ. Wonderful.
    And as a experiment I did not clean it which is not the recommendation of Kahr.
    Just thought I would try this like a few others have.
    I am very satisfied with the CM9, my my my.

    And then what a surprise the S&W 59 was! 14 rounds in no time; big gun to grip and not at all sore to the hand. Trigger was super sensitive and I love it. Husband you better hide it well

    Congratulations on your anniversary! Glad you had a good day at the range. The reports on Kahr's vary so it is good to hear that you had a positive experience.

    BTW my wife and I will celebrate 43 years of marriage later this year.

    Congrats on your anniversary and the CM9. Kahr's can be finicky at first, but usually break in fast. Since yours is running fine from the start, all the better. I'd shoot a few JHP's though it and consider it good to go.

    Nice way to spend the anniversary! Congratulations! I agree w/ TX-JB, you should run some defensive HP ammo through it. Make sure that they feed and she'll be a keeper.

    The hand hurt is pretty common and the slip on grip getting the attention recently is the "Kwik Grip". It's really cut to fit and feels more substantial that the Hogue Jr.. The PM calls for size 3A but a 3 may fit well (I have the 3 and don't know what's different in the 3A).
