    bought a new LCR

bought a new LCR 38+p a few weeks ago for $399.99,and just recently got out to the range to try it..put about 200 standard pressure and 25+p rounds through it mostly at 5-7yrds..did not find the +p ammo too harsh, the tamer grip helps reduce recoil quite a bit.as others have said, the trigger is amazing, especially for a little DA only snub..very smooh, like it...it's about as accurate as one can shoot it..so far 2 thumbs up..

Congrats! Recently, it seems that many other members have travelled this same path. Glad you are enjoying you new LCR.

    Cool little guns.

Do you CC your LCR? If so what method(s) do you use?

    Nice revolver and I'm jealous!

I am still hoping to get the wife an LCR, maybe for her birthday this October. She has been wanting one for quite some time now. I'd like to have one myself.

Congradulation on the purchase of such a fine revolver.

Nice! I opted for the KLCR .357. I mostly shoot 38 and 38+p out of it but I wanted the option to go full on Mag when I felt the notion to.

Nice! I want one too. I think that's the Tamer grip you have there.

How do you carry? Pocket? IWB? Do you feel it conceals easily?

I opted for the .357. I appreciate the extra weight. I use 38Sp+P, Buffalo Bore 158 grain LSWCHC for self defense carry. I've had mine less than 2 weeks. Have been to the range with it twice now and, so far, have good impressions of the fit and feel, the trigger, and the accuracy at self defense distances. Congratulations to crue2009 for getting a fine revolver.

Congrats on the new LCR. I rejoined the Ruger ranks last week with a new SP101 357.

congrats on your purchase. I've had my .357 LCR for a while now and an rarely w/o it. I like to use it as my bug either IWB @ the 12/1 o'clock or in front right pocket depending on which jeans i'm wearing or as my primary in the same spot

Nice to hear all of the good reports here about the LCR. My mom is in the process of getting one in the 38 spl. too and I'm definitely going to suggest that grip you got there. That looks really nice with that gun! Congrats!

I carry my LCR in an iwb from kholster, or an uncle mike's pocket holster. Conceals nicely.

I CC my LCR .357. I added the boot grip and carry IWB with a High Noon Mr. Softy (you need to stretch the holster out a bit). I am a slim guy, 5' 10" 150 and carry at the 5 o'clock position. I only have real trouble printing when I am slouched over (ie at the restaurant).
