Well, I don't carry a big-ass K or N frame, but not because I don't love them because I do! in fact, I have an offer to buy a mint M66 in 4-inch but its more of a lust. The price tag gives me pause since it would be the only gun I could buy for quite a while. Then again, it is my birthday this week so...

I often haul around a Smith & Wesson 460V, open carry chest holster or in a fanny/fishing pack . I live in Anchorage Alaska and when my wife and I are enjoying our great outdoors one or both of us carries a bear gun. The wife prefers 454 Casull for the 460V (but she is getting more and more comfortable shooting 460 loads these days) or she'll just carry her Super Blackhawk 44 mag.

Yesterday, we encountered a sow with two cubs while walking our dogs and it was comforting to have the 460 with me, even if the bears never got closer than 50 yards.

    Large Caliber Revolvers

Well it was my birthday last week & I'm replacing one I sold... picking up an SP101 today. Only a .357 , but in a 2" barrel it is a handful and more than plenty for social work.

I wouldn't buy one to carry it, but I love the S&W 500. A friend has one and it's just a blast to shoot ..... for the first load or two. After that it's more fun to drop down to a .38!

But I do love that gun, as well as his .44Mag. Those big ones are a blast.

I carry a 7 shot 357 mag quite often during even the hot days of summer. On very hot days I go back to my S&W 642 in 38 spl. I have carried a 454 during hunting only tho an 8 inch barrel on a wheelie that thick is impossible to hide on a 5'6" 130 pound frame. But it nice to know I had something that would penetrate deep enough to stop anything wanting to try and eat me out there. But for a city piece I worry a little about hitting someone trying to kill me and the pass thru bullet hitting the kids or lil old lady huddling down behind a wall on the next block over.

Not for every-day carry, but my Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt spends most of its time on the 4-wheeler when working around the farm.
    For my EDC I have either a S&W 36 DAO and/or a Keltek P3AT.
