Glock 36
I just picked up a Glock 36 today and have the MTAC holster on the way! This is my first .45 and I'm looking forward to taking it to the range. I can tell already it is going to be a dream to carry.
Do any other Glock 36er's have suggestions on gear/accessories I need to add to my short list?
Thanks

Congrats, I love mine. The only thing I can think of is I use a pocket holster for mine sometimes in pants where that will work. Mainly cargos and chinos. It was my first .45 as well. Fits very nice in a Maxpedition Fatboy as well along with a couple of mags for times when that's the route I have to take.

Congrats! I'm hoping to pick up a 36 very soon. Here are a few holsters I'm considering:

Congrats! You picked a great gun. I have been carrying mine for the past few years. It has a few thousand rounds thru it without any problems. The only thing I have done to it is add the Pierce +0 base plates to the mags because the stock mags pinched my pinky finger. Other than that it is stock and totally reliable.

The Glock-36 is my EDC and you are going to love carrying this 'thinnest' of all the Glocks.
The only thing I did to my '36' was to add Trij night sights, the rest stays stock.

The GLOCK 36 likes a firm grip (more so than any other Glock) so...don't "limp wrist" it.

Ya'll are killing me. I keep thinking that I'm fine with toting a G30SF. I may not be done buying Glocks yet, afterall.

For past 3 yrs I have carried a G36, +1 extender, XS big dot night sights. Great carry and very reliable. I am confident this weapon will perform if ever called upon to do so.

Suggestion;

Same here. Got one hell of a blood blister on my first outing before I swapped the base plates to the Pierce +0's.
Enjoy your new gun.

Extra magazines and a good way to carry at least one extra magazine when carrying. (I don't have a GLOCK 36) It's the thinnest of the GLOCKS but also the lowest capacity.

Congrats! You selected wisely. The 36 is a great carry, light, thin grip and accurate. I really like mine. Two things you might add are night sights, and a holder of some kind for an extra mag.
Oh; of course, plenty of ammo! I carry Federal HST 230Gr. HP in mine.

My G36 is my favorite carry.
Mine is stock and shoots very well, never pinched my hand on factory mags.
I like it for power to weight ratio, have a 1911 tactical that I really enjoy shooting, but it to big and heavy for CC for me.
The G36 is so much lighter and smaller but with the power of 45ACP.
As to round count, just learn to shoot well and the G36 with 45ACP will do the rest.

The G36 shoots like no other Glock. While the G30 is a very mild, soft shooter, the G36 is a violent tempered little beast. Pure fun, and accurate as can be. Hold on tight, as it does not like
the limp wrist as a previous post stated. Shooting weak hand can be a challenge, but doable with practice.
I would add a set of Mepros or Trijicons, and leave the rest alone as RETSUPT99 stated.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
