My G26 came with stock night sights. I haven't changed a thing on it and am completely happy.

My G17 has a Ghost Rocket trigger and titanium firing pin. I bought it used that way. And I haven't changed anything else. To be honest I prefer the stock trigger! One of these day's I will return the G17 to all stock. But I've been thinking of a different front sight. Maybe fiber optic?
    Question Everything!

All my Glocks have had TruGlo TFO sights installed and I also installed different custom slide cover plates on each. Everything else is stock.

My Glock 19 has the NY1 trigger spring and standard 5.5 connector. I like the more revolver like feel.
I replaced the factory night sights (they had gone dim, and I hate 3 dot sights anyway) with factory polymer sights.
I also sanded off the finger grooves, they did not fit my hand.

Had my Gen 2 G-19 stock for about 14 years. Never had an issue with the stock plastic sights. I installed a different connector and XS big dot sight. I say buy stock, learn the gun and then upgrade.

I love my Sevigny carry sights with tritium (green in front with single dimmer yellow rear). The 5.5 connector is fine to start with.

    All the best

After going back to a g17 for carry, I would add a grip plug for more consistent reloads, and a vickers slide release for more purchase when dropping the slide after performing an emergency reload without going too large. I also plan to try a grip force adapter.
    I collect ammo, not guns.
