Before face-lift (which I actually liked the looks of, but it started rusting on me, can't wipe down a carry gun all the time )

After, with the installation of a Harrison Extreme Trigger.

    Thank you, Bryan.

I just love the looks of the original two-tone that was so popular (for a reason and not just for looks ) back in the 1970s and 80s.

I had 12 years of Catholic schooling, so that makes perfect sense to me.

But it is a beautiful 1911, I really like the contrast between the grips, the frame, and the slide.

Sweet looking 1911, even before the upgrade. I'd be proud to carry either or.

With the right holster, that could be your "barbeque gun." Purty.

So what was the specific treatment, and who did the work?

Does it shoot any differently for you with the flat mainspring housing?
