Saved lunch money and money from teaching CCW for almost nine months... spent forever trying to figure out what 1911 to get on the 100th anniversary of its adoption by the military.

Colt Combat Elite from either 2010 or 2011, judging by the memory bump on the upswept beavertail grip safety and the full length guide rod.

I like 1911's so much I carry one,Got the CC XSE,I noticed the other day it's got a few carry marks on it,so is this gonna be a carry gun or a casual shooter

Good planning and certainly a fine looking peace. My last official Colt was a Gold Cup I bought in the 70's. I've been trying my best to forego another purchase but it's not easy while hanging out on this damn forum.
