    New blaster!

Saved lunch money and money from teaching CCW for almost nine months... spent forever trying to figure out what 1911 to get on the 100th anniversary of its adoption by the military.

    Ended up with this pony!

Colt Combat Elite from either 2010 or 2011, judging by the memory bump on the upswept beavertail grip safety and the full length guide rod.

Sweet looking Pony, may the 1911 live on for another 100 years.

Good planning and certainly a fine looking peace. My last official Colt was a Gold Cup I bought in the 70's. I've been trying my best to forego another purchase but it's not easy while hanging out on this damn forum.

Great piece, with amazing grips. I sure hope it'll be a shooter.
