Post FYI: Ruger LC9 8rd or 10rd Mags

For those with LC9s looking for a mag that holds more than 7, for the range or backup...The Sig P239 8rd or 10rd 9mm mags fit and works reliably. The only thing is the last round fired will not hold the slide back due to the magazine follower. Which is not a big deal for me.

    Just thought I would share.

Um that's an interesting bit of info...kinda cool.
I know not what this "overkill" means.

Honing the knives, Cleaning the longguns, Stocking up ammo.

Can you swap out the mag follower from the LC9 with the Sig to make it lock back on the last round?

    Danimal,

The answer to your question is no. The follower in the LC9 mag somewhat tapers and it is a little too wide to fit in the Sig mag.

Thanks but I'll stick to my factory magazines.
