    New carry pistol

When I rode accross country this summer my sweat caused a lot of rust on my Para P13. Well yesterday I purchased a Springfied XD Compact in .45. Have yet been able to fire it. I plan on using it as a summer bike gun. Never had a Springfield pistol. I hope it turns out ok.
Now I need to save up enough money to send my P13 to Cilinder & Slide for a beauty treatment and a tune up.

    Enjoy the new .45acp.

I have a P-13 from Para as well, one of my favorites guns. Also have a XD in .45, full size though, it's been great as well. You should enjoy it.

The Springer XD compact .45 is on my very short list to buy. Let me know what you thinik of it. I have a XD40 sub compact that I absolutely love. If the compact .45 is at all comparable, it should be awesome.

    Thumbs up

Congrats. Polymer might not be sexy, but they make a whole lotta sense as a summer motorcycle carry.

Congrats on the XD, you will enjoy it. I love my XDm .45, a sweet shooter, and I've never had a problem with concealed carry, rides high & tight.

Never could get the XD to feel right in my hand, but it is a reliable, good shooting pistol. Congrats and you will enjoy it very much.

Congratulations on your new gun. Be sure and give us a report when you take it to the range.

Well I put a few rounds through it today. Ate every thing I put through it. It is more accurate then I am. I found out that Hornady's new personal defense ammo is hot! I think I will keep it
