I vote Kahr. I paid a fortune for a PM40 that was the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. They seem to have a cult following. Every time I express my opinion on Kahr, the fans come out of the woodwork and blame me for the gun failing. I limp wristed it, I didn't give it enough break-in time, I should have sent it back for service a second time, blah blah blah.........
Glock is the most overrated...and I think that Springfield is the most underrated of the polymer autos. They are incredeibly reliable, accurate, excellent ergos (the best IMO), excellent quality, a fantastic value. I trust my and my family's lives to them.
A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government. --George Washington
Glock because they flat out are over rated and over priced. Just goes to show what you do with a few movies and a name.
Stick with my Ruger value for every dine spent and do the job. US company US made. except the mags .
I'd have voted HK if they were on there. Like others have said, and what has always been said, their pistols are just two expensive compared to their equaly good competitors from the Glock, M&P, and XD lines. They are good pistols though.
My vote went with Glock; I understand their reputation for reliability, but I don't like how they feel in my hand. I'm also turned off by the rabid, swarm-opposing-crowd who denounce us non-Glockers. For those two reasons, I feel they are overrated.
I voted for Colt. I like 1911s but they are not the be-all end-all guns many make them out to be. I like them but I think a basic 1911 is an overrated pistol. Once you start to customize them, they come nice guns.
I feel differently about the 1911 guns. I think that custom and modified versions are vastly overrated and the original unadulterated military contract 1911 and its commercial equivalent are the most admirable.
No possible rapidity of fire can atone for habitual carelessness of aim with the first shot.

I voted Glock. I think there are a lot of other guns that are just as reliable.
My choice isn't listed. Even though I carry one daily my pick would be H&K. They make good guns, but not any better than several other makers that have much less arrogance about them.

I voted Kimber. Overpriced, and no better than other 1911's. I know someone with a custom shop kimber that has had to send it back a couple times. 1911's in general to me are over rated. They are more finicky on ammo, they require being babied (cleaning, lubing, running them sorta wet) otherwise they jam etc. They are harder to take down to clean. In general, they are over rated IMO.
BTW, the Ruger LCR was an innovative revolver. Ruger didn't copy that from anyone, on the contrary, others have copied them.
Glock 26 XD9sc
Ruger SR9c Ruger LCP
I voted Kimber, flashy expensive 1911's do nothing for me. I would have voted H&K as well. I'd love to have an H&K, but not for what they ask for them. A few hundred less and i'd bite.
Glock is easily the most overrated gun.
Overrated doesn't mean bad, just not as good they are made out to be

It's better to prevent a crime, than to punish it.
I vote glock. And I bet half the people who voted Kimber never fired one
