Glock27/ KaBar TDI/ MTAC Holster. I have more also, but this combination works well..

Congratulations, I recommend you try it as a carry piece. Although heavy, the slim profile makes even full sized Government Models a dream to conceal IWB. A Colt 1911 is my go to gun under light summer attire.

    Congrats on the new 1911!!
Almost bought the 100th anniversary S/S edition. Real close. Trying to save for the DW CCO.Own a Springer that shoots great.

Congrats on the new gun! Colt SS Combat Commander was my choice when I finally went to 1911 for carry.

Congratulations. I've been in a holding pattern for a DW CCO for a long, long time. I may have to break down and pick up a cheaper 1911 first and that Ruger may be just the one.

For what it's worth, I'm all in favor of supporting "American Made" products. But the U.S. gun industry is by no means hurting. I don't have a problem with foreign made "Quality" guns. That said, all my handguns are American made but two and those two are German.

Congrats on the new gun and congrats on finding a Ruger 1911, they are still very scarce, around here anyway.

Congrats on the new 1911!!! They are very addicting. I recently bought a Galco Avenger from a member here. It's one of the best 1911 OWB holsters I've ever used, and I've tried a bunch in the last 20 years. I can conceal a SA Mil-Spec 5" under a t-shirt with no problems.

Thanks so much people. I am going to get pics up as soon as I get my camera FIXED!! the stupid thing broke on me and I'm kinda broke on the spare money now. LOL. My question to all of you is what type of holster do y'all recommend? Iwb? Owb? I carry a m&p. 45 full size now in a cbst and it's a great holster. Conceals great. The problem here is I have to conceal carry so it HAS to stay hidden. For some reason I am really thinking owb for a 1911. What say ye?? Oh by the way they are super rare here also I just have a buddy that I've come to know and he said they accidently sent him two orders of these. That was 20 on a Thursday the next Saturday they were gone. I got the LAST one just because I was waiting to make sure its what I wanted. Glad I did. It's a beauty.

I have a whole box of 1911 holsters, but my go to, favorite is the Milt Sparks Summer Special II IWB. Classic design made right.

Congratulations on your new 1911, I have been wanting one also but around here they are even more scarce than honest politicians.
